Paisley: Charity by Archibald Dawson (1924-26)

    A winged Atlas figure possibly representing Charity, it was modelled for the Russell Institute by the Glasgow sculptor Archibald Dawson and carved by his assistant, Jack Mortimer, both of whom worked for the Glasgow based architectural sculptors James Young and Son.
