Full size prototype of Mackintosh Library bay unveiled
Six months in the making, the prototype has been used to test every aspect of the design and manufacture of this centrepiece of the Mackintosh Building restoration.

Taken in the Edinburgh based workshop of Architectural Joinery firm Laurence McIntosh, these photographs show the completed prototype, and some of the team involved, including the lead craftsmen who worked upon it, and architectural heritage and conservation expert, Natalia Burakowska, of Page \ Page architects.
