Angel's Trumpet

The National Botanic Garden's conservatory has two brugmansia plants, of the variety, "Sunset." The hanging blooms distinguish the brugmansia from its close relative, the datura, which has upright blooms. The curled edges of these blooms are fascinating and I was fortunate to catch this bloom in light that highlighted its shape.
