I called this image "Bubbles" because one of the reasons why ice looks blue is because of the number of bubbles in it. the higher the concentration of bubbles the whiter it is as these reflect the light back out before it has penetrated any distance into the ice. The further the light travels into the ice the more of the red light light is absorbed leaving the blue light. Now i'm no physicist but that seems to make sense ..
