praying for time

These are the days of the open hand

They will not be the last

Look around now

These are the days of the beggars and the choosers

This is the year of the hungry man

Whose place is in the past

Hand in hand with ignorance

And legitimate excuses

The rich declare themselves poor

And most of us are not sure

If we have too much

But we'll take our chances

'Cause God's stopped keeping score

I guess somewhere along the way

He must have let us all out to play

Turned his back and all God's children

Crept out the back door

And it's hard to love, there's so much to hate

Hanging on to hope

When there is no hope to speak of

And the wounded skies above say it's much, much too late

Well maybe we should all be praying for time

These are the days of the empty hand

Oh you hold on to what you can

And charity is a coat you wear twice a year

This is the year of the guilty man

Your television takes a stand

And you find that what was over there is over here

So you scream from behind your door

Say what's mine is mine and not yours

I may have too much but I'll take my chances

'Cause God's stopped keeping score

And you cling to the things they sold you

Did you cover your eyes when they told you

That he can't come back

'Cause he has no children to come back for

It's hard to love there's so much to hate

Hanging on to hope when there is no hope to speak of

And the wounded skies above say it's much too late

So maybe we should all be praying for time."

George Michael►Praying for Time

(Best song from GM for me, and one of the bests songs ever by far)

Thank you! =) I thought of trying to make it more dramatic with higher contrast... but I wanted to leave it the more "natural" possible... I am in a period in which I am exploring this of almost nof altering photos...

For now it´s ok, a good experience... but seems pretty boring (both the process -almost inexistant- and the results). :-P
  • ian harvey 8y

playing around in different ways is good even if your playing around involves almost nothing!...we all have to experiment...
  • David 8y

Nice SP! I like the natural look, and I don't do much digital post-processing anymore really
  • Gisela Giardino 8y

Ahhh... thank you, david! It´s part of the naked alien party series... LOL!!! :D

I am trying to figure out what this "no-post-processing" thing is, still... ;-)

You, because you are already pretty, but for us, the ugly ones, not to post process (just add some contrast and tweak color levels) is a difficult thing... :D
  • David 8y

Ha, yeah right! I see no ugly ones on this stream; only sweet alien imagery :-)

Funny, I think most of us don't like the way we look in photos?? There are those few that seem to be most pleased with themselves in tons of SP's, but I think not for most of us. Keep up the experiments! :D

que pelo largo Gi! se me antoja una sesiòn a lo Yoko Ono, me gustan las otras a las que les subiste el contraste pero en esta se te ve al natural asì que la prefiero, o te prefiero, natural.
