My Iskra. Russian improved (?) version of Super Isolette.
I got this one on an Internet auction, it looked good, however it wasn't capable of taking any photos. Shutter timings were rubbish, focusing was nearly impossible, rangefinder didn't work, strangely failure-prone frame counter was working fine. After some time, breaking few things and repairing them I managed to get it up and running.
Shutter is russian equivalent of Sychro Compur (1/500 top speed, however due to age and wear it can operate at 3ms tops), lens is excelent Industar-58 75mm f/3.5 - soviet clone of Tessar. Focusing via coupled rangefinder.
It's bigger and heavier then my Isolette, making it less portable. :( Also I don't like rear "door" construction - no hinges. It's just a separate part.
Takes twelve 6x6 pictures on 120 film.
