Mummelsee (panorama)

    Newer Older

When hiking up the trail from the Mummelsee hotel to the Hornisgrinde peak (the highest spot in the northern Black Forest), there is an opening in the trees, just below the peak, which gives you an awesome view of the Mummelsee and a good portion of the Black Forest. It's an ideal place for a little rest stop on the way up, especially on hot days like this was.

We went all the way up and then followed a round trail through the marshes up there.

The panorama was stitched from a bunch of portrait shots.
