On 13 November 2018, Drawdown Switzerland hosted an awareness-raising event on Project Drawdown’s solutions to addressing climate change and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by reducing fossil fuel emissions and sequestering carbon out of the atmosphere. The keynote speaker, Professor Jacques Dubochet winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2017, gave a talk on “Science-Based Solutions to Global Warming”.
