Dolls # 1 and # 2 look like they may be Moxie Girlz (??). Their bodies look like Barbie bodies, though, and they have Mattel stamps on their backs. I tried to remove their heads to see if I could switch out with heads of other Barbie and non-Mattel Barbie sized dolls, but it feels like I'll break them if I remove their heads, so I stopped trying.
Doll # 3 has a Barbie body and a Mattel stamp, and she looks so familiar, so I wonder if she is a celebrity doll (?).
I absolutely love Doll # 4. She has a Mattel stamp, but she is smaller than Barbie. She also looks familiar to me, making me wonder if she is a celebrity doll. I love that she is smaller, so that my dioramas will look more like "real life". Not all women are the same height or size, and I like that I now have a petite girl in the group. She also can wear old Francie clothes that were my sister's when we were kids.
Doll # 5 has a Mattel stamp. She was naked when I got her, so the dress she is wearing didn't come with her.
------- About this photo set:
My partner and I went to two thrift shops on Saturday and found some great Barbie stuff. Some of the dolls were in groups of 5 or 6 in plastic bags marked from about $5 to $7, and others were separate. Some of them I want to try to identify, so I will include them in the Barbie Identification group, and some I Was able to identify. I apologize for the blurriness of some of the photos. My partner's camera is awesome, but I don't know much, yet, about the proper settings for closeup shots like these. I'll try to replace these with better shots, if I can.
