Welcome Friends and Flakes Quilt

This is the first quilt I have ever made. I made the stitcherie a while ago and later on I decided to make a quilt out of it. Except for the binding, it's completely handsewn. The pattern for the stitcherie is a Mulberry Street Patterns design. I don't remember the names of the fabrics I used, except for one: the begonia leaves are made by Kaffe Fassett. I designed the rest of the quilt myself, and it's based on using the log cabin technique. I also attached several yoyo's and buttons, to give it a whimsical look. The measurements of the finished quilt are 44 cm to 36 cm (17,3 to 14,2 inches) Now it's finished, I see that the quilt is full of mistakes. But, given the fact that I've never done any quilting at all and I don't have any training whatsoever, I think I did a good job. And the next quilt I'll be making will be better ^_^
