Lance Corporal Abram Howard Memorial Bridge

The Lance Corporal Abram Howard Bridge is a new replacement for the former Arch Street Bridge connecting the Newberry neighborhood of Williamsport with Duboistown on the West Branch Susquehanna River. It is named for a Marine who was killed in Afghanistan. Howard is a distant relative of mine who I cannot recall meeting. We both learned to hunt at the some hunting cabin in the mountains south of South Williamsport. Our grandfathers are first cousins.
