Project 365 Day 5: Bokeh, Sponsored by Mastercard

05-01-10 I took a lot of photos today. Its been snowing all day and again I was trying to capture snowfall as dynamically as I did in this picture but with no luck. I didn't have the nerve to step out into the freezer so I consoled myself with taking some bokeh shots of the fairy lights on the Christmas tree. After all it will be the last chance I get as they come down tonight. Anyway I was snapping away trying different lenses and getting into some very strange positions when this appeared in my viewfinder. "That looks like the Mastercard Logo!" I said, to myself. So I decided to go with it! Not much processing was done, I bumped the saturation of yellow and red in Lightroom to make it pop and cropped it slightly but that was all. Just for the record I took this with a Minolta 70-210 "Beercan" Lens kindly loaned to me by Mr Andrew Wardlaw who is also doing a 365 this year. If I ever get some money together I will be buying it off him as it is pin-sharp and has a constant f4 throughout the zoom. Looking at this though I am beginning to wonder if I have a dirty sensor. Any tips for cleaning?

Images Viewed: Again I have been all over flickr in the past few days. I have also started to put together a photography twitter list in order to collate all the tweeting photogs I follow.

Other Inspiration: I have just finished writing up a lab report for my Advanced Networking module. The one thing that got me really thinking was having to use Dijkstra's algorithm it's a complete brain melter.

On Twitter.
