2007 Foundation Annual Dinner

James A. Baker III and Lee H. Hamilton were selected as co-recipients of the 2007 Gerald R. Ford Medal for Distinguished Public Service. The medal was presented by Jack Ford, Chairman of the Gerald R. Ford Foundation at the annual Foundation dinner on June 11, 2007 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. Both Baker and Hamilton have decades of public service, most recently as Co-Chairs of the Iraq Study Group that was commissioned by Congress to report on the situation in Iraq and U.S. led War in Iraq.
