The 31st Annual Gerald R. Ford Journalism Prizes for Distinguished reporting in 2017 were presented on June 4, 2018, at The Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C. This year's Journalism Prizes were presented in conjunction with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Annual Dinner. Foundation Trustee Carla A. Hills presented the Awards to Ashley Parker and Philip Rucker from “The Washington Post” for Reporting on the Presidency, and J.J. Green from “WTOP Radio” (Washington, D.C.) for Reporting on National Defense. Honorable Mentions were also presented in both categories.
