2016 Gerald R. Ford Medal for Distinguished Public Service

The Foundation and Ford Family presented George H.W. Bush with the Gerald R. Ford Medal for Distinguished Public Service. The announcement was made by Trustee Carla A. Hills at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Annual Dinner on June 6, 2016. Hills was joined by Red Cavaney, Steve Ford, and Joseph Calvaruso in previously traveling to Houston, TX earlier in 2016 to present the award to the 41st President and his wife Barbara.
