Martin Sejer Andersen's Golden Palm Box

Newer Older

Folded from a hexagon cut off from a square of 25 cm on the side of Japanese wrapping paper.

When I first saw a picture of this model, I thought that it was just another heaxagon box made out of a hexagon twist, but it turned out to be much more than that. What is more interesting in this model is not its top but its bottom.

Folded from the tutorial at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh2xa2GRPTg

    Thank you for folding, Jorge!
Yes, the bottom is indeed interesting. It's a hexagonal antiprism with an interesting collapse. :)
    I love that paper!

Thanks to you for the tutorial. The paper is nice, but too springy to produce a good result, but that was the only bicolored paper I could find when I wanted to try your model.
