Waverley, Swans, Arran
I decided to go for a walk from West Kilbride to Saltcoats this afternoon, even although it was beginning to pour with rain as I left. By the time I reached the mid-point between Seamill and Ardrossan it was a lovely day, so I was was fair boiling in my waterproof gear - not a problem that would confront these two preening swans, nor I suspect the passengers on the PS Waverley, that Clyde icon and the world's last ocean-going paddle steamer as it glides past the southern tip of Arran.
I love living here.
