    seem like there's a little control issue with the arm grip pose least that's what I'm getting from this. Otherwise a cool picture!

    You're right - that's not resignation, that's determination on her face. He might just be asking her if he can sit in front.

    She looks tough; I think she could take him. He doesn't look too bright, so maybe she told him to "hold on tight so you don't get lost"!
