Cemetery

Old Jewish Cemetery, Prague,,,,,,,,

Established in the 15th century in the Old Jewish Quarter, Josefov, when Jews were forbidden to bury their dead outside their own district. Due to lack of space, the bodies were buried on top of each other up to 12 layers deep.
