Ganymede VPA comparison 6 May 2018
This is a reprocessed and resized image of Ganymede from the Jupiter image data that I captured on 6 May 2018. The larger image is a graphic from the Virtual Planet Atlas set at the same date and time as the captured smaller inset image. The main features line up pretty well, especially the bright lava flows around the crater Osaris at the bottom of the image.
