Day 50/365: MMM Pizza
Everyone loves a good pizza. I work at the "Weathertech Hub" with the university where we make pizza's, sandwiches, salads, etc. Having a job is something that we all take for granted. We all bitch and moan about not having enough money to go out on Saturday nights or buy something nice for someone, but not many people actually take actions to become financially independent. I know so many kids who look at their wallet and then shrug off $50 for something and immediately call their parents for more money. For lack of better words, their actions are irresponsible. Every time they call their parents, they don't understand what even a single dollar is worth. They expect every single penny to be given to them. This semester, I gave up my Friday nights to work a 6-2:30am shift so that I can earn more money and spend less on drinking and partying.
What it comes down to is realize what a dollar signifies and take actions to earn every penny you spend, don't go about burning cash like it grows on trees, but more importantly try to understand what you're parents have gone through to get you that single dollar. It's not as easy as you think.
