Like Father Like Sons (Shot on Film)
Starting with my shoes on the right, from oldest to youngest.
I had this image/concept bouncing around in my head for several months where my boys where following in my foot-steps. It started with just my shoes and my youngest (over on the far left), but quickly morphed into all the boys dress shoes.
From there I went through several iterations of lighting before landing on this light.
This was shot on Kodak TMAX 100 B&W 120 medium format film with a Hasselblad 500 C/M.
The film was over-exposed 1 full stop at f/5.6 and 1/250s shutter.
It was developed in Kodak D-76 developer (1:1 mix) at 70 degrees fahrenheit for 7 minutes, 30 seconds.
It was fixed with Kodak Fixer for 10 minutes.
After it dried, it was scanned with a Canon Canoscan 9000F Mark II scanner at 9600 dpi and a custom glycerine wet gate mount. The scanning software was Vuescan Pro and it was scanned as a transparent image in full 48 bit RGB color to a tiff file with manual exposure and no gamma correction.
The tiff file was post processed in Adobe Photoshop.
