Bridal Veil Falls in October

Bridal Veil Falls guards the entrance to the Yosemite Valley and I love it in Fall with the reds and yellows. I also love the idea of it: A valley stream that suddenly finds itself hung over 600 feet above the Yosemite floor -- an impudent act of glaciers and of the Merced River you see here flowing by. It is indeed called a hanging valley, which, like hanging plants, festoon the walls of Yosemite.
