The purpose of this seminar is to enhance understanding of the conclusions and implications of NATO's formal review of Montenegro's preparation for NATO accession to be carried out by the end of 2015 on the basis of decision at the Wales summit. It will analyze any remaining challenges and next steps for Montenegro in preparation toward its goal of becoming a full, active member of the Alliance. It will promote effective whole of government measures toward that goal. Within that context, the impacts of NATO priorities within the evolving security environment as well as lessons from the integration experience of other newer Allies will also be considered.
