I took a shot like this back in April (see first comment) of a nymph, and somehow I managed almost the exact same composition, uncropped, of what I think is an adult of the same species. Notice the fully formed wings on the adult that were not present on the nymph. This adult showed off those wings after about 10 shots when it decided to fly away.
I wish I had shot this at 1/50 instead of 1/200 to get more background color in the shot. I had the 580exii slaved to the MT-24EX, but it was not enough. My body was braced pretty solidly on a macro rail attached to a tripod (another new technique I'm trying out), so I could have easily gone down to 1/50 or even maybe 1/25 without losing detail.
