Katori Senkou mosquito coil ad, 1900-1929

On the right an ad for incense, but on the left I don't know, perhaps writing ink?

Scanned from Taschen's "Japanese Beauties".

The right is a mosquito coil, "katori senkou".

The kanji on the left say 於各地博覧会金牌受領. I'm not sure what that means though, so I'll pass this on to experts.

Thanks a bunch for that information, Bnz! I've changed the title accordingly.

Two different ads - the left is for a company with "several awards" and the right is indeed a mosquito coil product, for King Corporation.

yes, we still use these mosquito coils in China (but I find them repellent to me; I think they must contain harmful chemicals).....

I've seen this kind of coils in all natural products stores, but i've never bought any. Thanks for the heads up! :) And happy holidays.

the left is something about the "gold standard" for ink, i think.
it's talking about gold, exposition, and receiving something. (i don't know all the characters.)
