Access to Learning

A class of young children answers questions aboard a riverboat doubling as a floating school. Bangladesh, a nation of 140 million, has one of the highest population densities in the world with almost 1,000 people per square kilometer. Many people are landless and forced to live on and cultivate flood-prone land. The Shidhulai Swanirvar Sangstha received the Access to Learning Award for it's innovative use of boats to deliver education and technology to isolated rural communities. (Bangladesh, 2005)

I would like to know if Gates Foundation can consider promoting access to information through web-based learning ....providing software and hardwares for that.... Jaago Foundation is doing amazing work in Bangladesh....these young people are providing free english medium education for the poorest in Bangladesh.....even Hilary Clinton was amazed to know about them and she met the founder during her last visit to Dhaka.....pls do something for Jaago.....
