Lost Horizons of the Marbles - Marble Mountain Wilderness

Taken from a mountaintop in the Marble Mountain Wilderness with a tiny point and shoot camera -- not certain of the date -- think 2003 -- and probably in late October. That large canyon directly down below is the Wooley Creek drainage ....

* [Historical note ... President Hoover had a private hideaway cabin (accessible only by foot or horse) down below along rugged and roadless Wooley Creek ... Hoover is given partial credit for the Marble Mountains becoming a protected area.]

"The years will come and go .... [and] ... most precious of all, you will have Time -- that rare and lovely gift that your Western countries have lost the more they have pursued it."

-- James Hilton (excerpt from Lost Horizons)
