March Snows

Low elevation snow is uncommon in western Oregon, especially so late in the winter. Yesterday brought snow showers to the Willamette valley floor and accumulations on the Cascade Range foothills. In this scene from Sauvie island, several sandhill cranes fly across a wetlands with Cascade snow in the background.
