First piece made. The little bullet casing is to go into the holes I'll drill in the floor and roof of each door frame. I didn't want the metal rods to push straight into the wood. I wanted something that would protect the wood from the constant opening and closing I'll be putting them through over the next few years. I used the flaring tool first (top and big right pieces) to lock the tube into a hole, and crank the cone into the tip to flare it open. Then I measure an inch from the flared end, marked the tube with a mechanical pencil, and cut it with the cutter tool (bottom right). Very easy, and silent.
