64 Pdr. Gun firing - That's the 3rd shot for this weekend and I finally got it.
For its 9th consecutive year, the Queensland Living history Federation presented a multi-period re-enactment event "History Alive" - a journey through time at Fort Lytton National Park in Brisbane (believe it or not....this is in a National Park)
Can you feel the tension...?
- 20D (5D is too slow with 3 fps)
- EF 16-35mm 1:2,8 L II USM
- Focal Length 18mm
- ISO 200
- LEE Filters
- Photomatix single shot tone mapping
- Noise reduction
- Removed refinery from the other side of the river...hehe
I have to say that I was really challenged by David de Groot and Mark as they got the gun fire the day before...well done guys.
I aimed for a composition which fully included all Soldiers to give this some life. As far as I understand, the commanders arm shouldn't be up for the release of the gun fire.
