Gatton Hall 10K Run - July 2011 - The Leading Lady in the Home Straight
The Gatton Hall 10000 metres is regarded as the toughest on the calender requiring the athletes to run up and down the scarp face of the North Downs three times. It is, therefore, as much a test of stamina as it is speed.
This young lady finished 6th in the overall race finishing some 8 minutes behind the first two men but was easily the fastest woman. The vast bulk of the runners finished more than 20 minutes behind the winner.
