Budapest - April 2003 - Danube Waterfront

Trip to Budapest 2003. Wife was working at a Client's bank in the city so decided i'd join her for a long weekend. Thoroughly recommended. This is the first bridge built over the Danube at this point and joined the two cities of Buda, on the left, and Pest on the right. A case of business on the right and pleasure on the left. The bridge was originally designed to cross the Thames at Marlow and W T Clark, the designer, just scaled it up to cross the Danube. see link below.
