Day 200 - The beauty of the end of a day
One can't help but stop and stare at her, there with the sunset behind her. I was out to take Max for quick little walk and I noticed a car pulled over on "highway 2". Someone was taking a photo in the passenger seat I could see.
So, of course, curiosity caused me to take a quick look to see what it was that was being photographed. Then I saw her. With the sunset glow behind her and for a brief moment I stood, held my breath and thought this is just the perfect end to the day.
Then as quick as that, I ran Max back into the house, grabbed the camera (no time to grab the tripod or to even set up the shot...it was a hand-held on the shoulder of the road) and ran hoping to capture a shot or two before the sun went down. Of course she noticed me and looked over. Then, something spooked her and off she turned to run.
Thanks for letting me see this. Thanks to the person who saw her first and decided to stop and catch my attention.
Just goes to show you, pay attention to the little things, for they may be only there for a fleeting moment.
Have a super day, afternoon or evening where ever you are in the world.
