Awful weather in the south bay today. But I geared up to test by new Canon 430ex flash & Better Beamer combination and what a bird to use my flash for the first time! The results are satisfactory to me. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shot this afternoon @ Alviso, CA.

Great shot, everything looks pretty solid to me, and what a way to salvage less than ideal photo conditions.

How far away was the eagle on this shot?

Thanks. It was approx 100 feet btw me and the Eagle.

Geez Ganesh, great shot. I would be thrilled to get one like that. And in Alviso, that would hardly be the first place I would look for one.

I got lucky a couple of years ago at the Eagle View lookout at Sunol, but didn't do nearly as well as you!
