I was paired up with the very talented Patti-Jo for round 15. Not only is she talented she is also very accomplished photographer and appears to have executed almost every type of image there is! Please check for yourselves: www.flickr.com/photos/26551005@N08/
So her challenge to me was as follows: Hello, round 15 partner! It has been a pleasure exploring your photostream this morning...you have a wonderful collection of sets! I see you have an appreciation for art and thought you might enjoy a challenge along that theme. My push for you is to create a colorful image where you will force the perspective between objects to create an illusion. You've probably seen photos where a person's hand in the foreground appears to be holding a (foreshortened) tiny person in the background. There are many other ways to force perspectives and I encourage you to be creative and unique. Make it a fun and interesting image to look at using elements that relate together powerfully. Have fun!
I had never even heard of the term 'forced perspective' let alone take one, so after some research I soon discovered my limits and had to recruit an assistant-son number 1- to aid me in creating the image. I enjoyed putting it together and yes, I WAS pushed!
Patti, the weather has been poor here to say the least so a colourful image was hard to come by, although there was some sunshine on this day, so I turned things round about and made this.
He is one of the four horseman of the apocalypse posing for a photo on a fun day out to Kent! I'm not sure which one, probably death or pestilence.
