Guard Retires Cargo Workhorse

CLAY NATIONAL GUARD CENTER, Marietta, Ga., June 25, 2013 – Soldiers and citizens gathered at Clay National Guard Center to say goodbye to the C-23 Sherpa and honor the Georgia National Guardsmen who crewed it. The C-23 is the Army’s only Cargo Airplane and was flown exclusively by National Guardsmen.
