State Senator John Albers visits 4th CST

On January 21st Georgia’s 56th district State Senator John Albers made a visit to the 4th Civil Support Team-Weapons of Mass Destruction on Dobbins, Air Reserve Base. Senator Albers is currently on the state board of public safety and has a deep interest on what assets are available for the state’s response to a WMD attack. During the visit, Senator Albers was able to tour the 4th CST’s facility and received a first-hand capabilities brief from the Soldiers and Airmen of the 4th CST-WMD.

 

Senator Albers received a unit coin from the 4th CST-WMD Commander, Maj. Shane Strickland. Senator Albers is a Volunteer Fireman, himself, with the Alpharetta Fire Department and served on their hazmat team.
