messy thai bento

ok SERIOUSLY, i worked until 1am last night and had to be back in the office by 8 - so this bento is a MESS, but i only had about 10 minutes to get it together! :-(

main box: leftover pad thai underneath, covered by pepper star; top right is fish cakes, bottom right is veggie gratin (thanks for the recipe, maki!) in a silicone cup...

sidecar: leftover pad tofu skewered with asparagus; top right is a lime wedge for squeezing on the noodles, bottom left is some plum and pear and a checkered apple (not the best photo angle!), and bottom right is a container of chili sauce for dipping the tofu and fish cakes...

    I guess you take your obento to work, right, so may I ask: how do you close the lid of the lower box? Do you dis- and rearrange the insides? Or is there a special stacking technique?

    @ seigyuu -- to be honest, i just sort of smush everything in when it's time to put the lid on! some of my arrangements are flatter, but when i do fans, they have to be smushed, and when i do "kebobs" (like the tofu above) it just needs to be laid flat (instead of propped up like for the picture)...
