Cultural Hall American Museum of Natural History

One of the most popular exhibits in the Cultural Hall of the AMNH is the 63 foot dugout red cedar Haida Canoe built in 1878.

The Haida Indians lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia and the Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. They were expert fishermen and seafarers.
