Starlite telephone model MT 182A-1, 1970s

This design was already made by GTE in Brazil in 1970; this one is dated 1978. It is an evolution of an American design from around 1964. Made of ABS plastic.

We had this telephone in my parents house for years, only they had replaced the dial with push buttons. Same cord and everything.

A very nice colour, I have always been on the lookout for a red phone....that isn't stupid expensive. It's amazing what people will spend on such things. I prefer to get things when people are throwing them out, then you save money and have the satisfaction of saving something beautiful.

    Very cool phone.

It could be based on a Bell 'Princess' phone.
