Slinky Coils, 1992

    Newer Older

Turning into plastics the "slinky toy" steel coil designed by Richard T. James in 1948 in USA, these made in China anonymous toys flooded brazilian streets in the 1990s. They were machined out of Polystyrene tubes.

This is how my friend Hollie and I met! I was wearing one of these as a "beard", Abe Lincoln style. Try this Galessa. Hook each side of the slinky to one of your ears, and let it sit on your chin... now stroke it thoughtfully, like you are deeply troubled by the Civil War or Slavery... Doesn't it feel wonderful?
