Post Production with Photoshop CS3
"The Combination" (how it was made)
So a while ago I shot an Ad for a local gymnastics complex that went in a few local magazines in Ocala, FL. I never put any of them up because they wanted to do their own post production on the images. So, I was going through my files, separating images into a portfolio folder to have ready for my new website (which will be up and running soon). I came across a set of shots of 2 boys flipping on this floor trampoline. I liked it and thought it looked pretty out of the norm, so I dragged that baby into photoshop and went to work.
I started off by creating a layer mask in the whole top part of the image and filled it in with black. I didn't like how it just looked with a black background so I brought in another picture and threw it where the black was. I then cropped it and aligned everything to my liking.
At that point in time, I still felt something was missing. So, I added texture and some more contrast. I also added a gradient blur from the "Acrobat" on the left.
I think it came out pretty cool .. some of the most post I've done to an image, but hey, it happens!
Let me know what you think .. Thanks!
