      I hadn't noticed before, but this is considered a "featured picture" in wikipedia, and was a "picture of the day" this spring.

      Thanks for the post card, I received it today!

      It brought a smile to my face, and my family enjoyed looking at the photo.

      The way I noticed that this photo was a featured picture, was merely from surfing the Sterographic Projection entry in Wikipedia. Clicking on details of the image had all the information there.

      A friend of mine found this image in a newspaper (he thought it was mine and showed it to me): "Le courrier de Russie", a bilingual russian paper (www.lecourrierderussie.ru). It was on the the cover of the n°176 (15-29 october 2010). Did you know about it ?
