Maine House

What you see here was built in 12 hours on Thursday during Brickworld 2018.

It is the culmination of many people bringing many parts with no knowledge of what might be needed what might be used. Having been away from my bricks at school all year I wasn't able to prepare something for Brickworld. Furthermore, I was flying straight from Brickworld to Europe and thus could not bring many of my own bricks. So, having just come from visiting a friend in Maine this is what resulted from the eclectic selection of parts that were available.

But more importantly, this build is a thank you; it's a thank you for everyone who brought parts, everyone who sat around while I built, everyone who played Simon games, everyone in orphanLUG, everyone who played frisbee, everyone who ate too much Portillos, and everyone who parted this thing out when I had to leave early.

Brickworld 2018, despite happening a few months ago, was exceptional beyond belief, so thank you Simon for convincing me to go, and everyone else for making it absolutely incredible.
