Northern Lights
Montana is (just barely) northerly enough that the aurora borealis extends down to us at times. These shots were all taken with a Canon EOS 40D, 50D, or 6D, along with standard Canon and Sigma SLR lenses. I wrote an aurora monitoring application you can see here that keeps me up to date on what the current auroral conditions are.

If you'd like to look through these in the most convenient fashion, click on the top left image, and let the page load. Then click on the image itself, and it will display on black. Then use your right cursor key to move from the current to the next image; you can repeat the right-cursor keypress until all the images have been shown if you are so inclined.
