Palm T|X running SSH to one of my servers

This is your basic minimalist workspace. I've always got this on hand when I travel; all it takes is wifi and I can manage servers via a shell. Nifty.

What's running here is an SSH client for the Palm. This is a Palm T|X, connected to one of my servers by WiFi. Believe it or not, I can do, and have actually done, server maintenance using this setup. Cool, eh? It's sitting in my eyeglasses case, for scale.

      hi
I want to buy this phone but ı cant give decision . Do you like palm tx or you'd prefer palm life driver ? and does palm tx have wireless connection please response me as soon as possible thank you bye..

      ismetcabbar,

The Palm T|X is not a phone. It is a PDA. There is no phone capability.

I like the T|X just fine. I don't like hard drives for portable use, so I don't like the lifedrive.

The T|X has both WiFi and Bluetooth, so yes, it has complete wireless connectivity.

You should go to the Palm website and look at the different models. If you decide you want a Palm product, I recommend you buy it from someone other than Palm, however, as they have extremely poor customer service,

      Is that....Norton Commander?

No - it is "Midnight Commander", a linux tool along the same lines. I use it constantly.
