Not So Scary

Ok, it's not very good quality, and I couldn't think of a good title. This is the "Tough Guy" bat again, not being quite as tough.

To be honest, his eyes were closed so I added the eyeshine in post production. It didn't look right without it. Does it look real enough? I also need to go back and edit the white balance when I fix my computer. It's too yellow.

Hehe, yeah, I think he's a younger male, cause the adult males don't normally roost with the females at this time of year. He's definitely male though, whether adults are smaller than the females or not I'm not sure.

hey awesome pics. totally agree on the eye shine and white balance. Other than that maybe get rid of that white speck in the left side of the mouth. just a little distracting. really great stuff though! keep it up!

I am in love with both of these photos (this one and "Smile for the Camera"). I love bats, and I'm so glad that you are/were doing bat rescue!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm using them in an academic presentation to demonstrate how we (librarians) are making things hard and scarier than they have to be.
