      I had to do this when I first began to teach in FL.

      @Aegir: it's absolutely nuts. The place had a constant stream of people there for testing. I spoke to the guy in the lab afterwards and had a bizarre conversation:

      me: "We don't really do this in the UK"
      him: "Really? Well now at least you know you'll be working with clean people" [gives big smile]
      me: "I don't think it's any of my business what people do in their own time"
      him "Oh. Well, anyway, at least you know you'll be working with clean people" [another big smile].

      It was weird having that conversation whilst sitting at a table with two containers of your fresh urine in-between you and the other person.

      Yeah, the whole "War on Drugs" is a bizarre notion.
