Penmon Point Lighthouse

The lighthouse at Penmon Point was built after the sinking of a steam ship in 1831, resulting in the loss of passengers and crew. The lighthouse watches over the treacherous waters between Penmon Point and Puffin Island. I don't think there are any puffins there any more. The lighthouse has a dull sounding fog bell which lets out a solitary clang every 30 seconds.
